Frequently Asked Questions

Sports Massage vs. Deep Tissue: What’s the difference?

While both use firm pressure, their goals differ. Deep Tissue focuses on releasing chronic muscle knots and tension caused by posture or stress. Sports Massage is a more functional approach—it includes stretching and specific techniques designed to enhance athletic performance, improve flexibility, and address issues related to training loads.

Is massage recommended immediately after training?

The "Golden Window" for post-event recovery massage is between 2 hours and 3 days after training. During this time, I apply moderate pressure combined with lymphatic drainage elements. This approach ensures we don't disrupt your body's natural physiological recovery processes while effectively flushing out metabolic waste and reducing muscle soreness.

What should I wear during the session?

Your comfort is my priority. For most treatments, you will be asked to undress to your comfort level. Professional draping with towels is always used to ensure your privacy.

Will Deep Tissue or Sports massage be painful?

These treatments involve intense pressure, which can sometimes be "comfortably uncomfortable." However, it should never be sharp or unbearable. We stay in constant communication to adjust the depth to your tolerance.

How often should I schedule a session?

For active athletes or chronic tension, I recommend a session every 1-2 weeks. For general maintenance and injury prevention, once a month is usually sufficient to maintain body balance.

How should I prepare for my first visit?

Try to avoid eating a heavy meal at least 1 hour before. Arrive 5 minutes early to discuss your training goals and fill out a quick health form.

Are there any contraindications to massage?

Massage is not recommended during fever, infectious diseases, or acute inflammation. If you have chronic conditions or recent surgeries, please let me know during booking.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash, cards (Visa/Mastercard), and mobile payments like Apple Pay or BLIK. Online payment is also available during the booking process via Fresha.
